POLARREV is an aluminium sailing yacht of 45 ft, built by the well known yard Dübbel & Jesse (Norderney, Germany).

R.Y.C.B.-member and owner-skipper Kris Rymenants formerly made trips to Spitsbergen, Azores and the Channel Islands. In 2003, Polarrev joined the Classic Malts Cruise in Scotland.

In 2004, she participated in the Tall Ships’ Races and achieved excellent results in Class D:

1. -4th place in Race 1
   

2. -1st place in Race 2
   

3. -1st place overall for the entire Race
   

4. -trophy for “Best Newcomer in 2004”
